Hi, I’m Captain Barry Schultz and Smallmouth Bass are my Specialty, but I also target Walleye, Steelhead, Salmon, Lake Trout, Brown Trout and Yellow Perch. It would be my personal pleasure to be your guide on your next fishing charter. “2024” marks the 24th year I’ve been guiding people to Trophy Fishing Adventures! Consequently, teaching them to catch these Monster Fish while showing them a Great & Fun day on the Water. I have over 40 years fishing and experience on Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, the Niagara River & across NY state.
Having grown up here in Western NY my whole life while fishing since I was a boy with my dad and grandfather, then working as First Mate for 4 years before I started my own business. I bought my first boat in 1986 and have been fishing 100+ days annually ever since!
I hold a U.S.C.G. Great Lakes Masters License, Fully Insured and Inspected! I also have Red Cross Emergency Training.

The Boat you will be fishing out of is a 2023 Skeeter WX2060F, powered by a 250 Yamaha SHO V-Max4 stroke! A Deep-V Pro Style Walleye boat that provides smooth, dry ride and handles whatever Lake Erie or Lake Ontario throws at you! That is equipped with a Minn Kota 112# Terrova Trolling motor, the Best in Electronics in the industry: a Fishhawk down speed & temp unit, 2) Humminbird Helix 12 Chirp Mega SI units, a Humminbird Helix 15 unit with Mega Live Imaging & a Humminbird Helix 10 Chirp Mega SI unit all networked to help put and keep you on fish! Cisco track systems hold the Cisco & Traxstech Rod Holders, Mega Live pole mount and Big Jon Down Riggers. While the Yamaha 9.9hp kicker motor will push you along trolling for Walleye, Salmon & Trout! A Uniden Marine Radio and a Cell Phone are onboard as well as being Coast Guard compliant for your safety.
Most of my Fishing is “Hands On” where you will present the bait whether it’s live or artificial. Where You will feel the bite, set the hook and reel the fish in until I net it for you! But being versatile is the name of the game in this sport! Therefore, we may use many methods to catch what Fish you are looking for! Everything from; casting, jigging, drifting or pulling live bait to open water trolling! What ever it takes to put fish in the boat and take advantage of the Hot Bite!
I am very fortunate to have one of the best jobs ever and enjoy sharing it with others. Over the years I’ve learned what it takes to guarantee a great day on the water!
